Michael Bradley of The Undertones stars in new SAD SAC campaign

Words; Dylan Murphy

The bassist from the iconic group models the new repurposed tweed blazer as part of the new drop from the Donegal designer.

North west creator and designer SAD SAC has returned with his latest collection named ‘Banshee of Donegal’. The drop features a repurposed Irish tweed blazer and repurposed cashmere overcoat that both drop on St. Patricks Day at 11.00.

The photos for the upcoming release feature Michael Bradley, the bassist of Derry group The Undertones. Inspired by photos of the band in London with The Clash in 1979, the shoot was styled, directed, shot & edited by SAD SAC while Stylematic provided the space and Acme McConnell worked on designs.

In the past, SAD SAC has collaborated with current District Cover star SOAK on a drop. Elsewhere, the clothes have been worn by the likes of Wifis Funeral, CZARFACE and more. SAD SAC also teamed up with Bang On The Door co-creator Karen Duncan to revive the brand behind Groovy Chick.

Available via the SAD SAC website 11.00 Friday 17 March.
