Movemburger returns to Charlotte Quay

By Emily Mullen

And it’s not even November

Movemburger didn’t stay away from Grand Canal Dock for too long. The popup is returning to the waterfront restaurant after a brief hiatus. Movemburger had occupied the space for the eponymous month of November, where it donated €1 for each burger sold to men’s mental health charity Movember.

The menu which was dropped on Charlotte Quay’s Instagram account embodies the mustachioed spirit of Movember, with each burger named after the variety of ways bros have chosen to wear their mo’s.

It’s a pretty well-formed menu, centering around four burgers, featuring a choice of beef, falafel, beer fried cod, or Korean fried chicken. The fries have gotten an upgrade from last year’s menu, with skinny fries on offer with either garlic mayo or bacon jam, garlic mayo and cheese sauce, or sweet potato fries with smoked avocado mayo and hot sauce.

The desserts have also been given a shake-up with mint chocolate or double chocolate with hazelnut praline ice cream cookies available for afters. There will also be a selection of pre-made cocktails on sale which are yet to be announced.

The takeaway is now open from 4 pm today and will run from Thursday to Sunday, with €1 from each burger going to charity. For more information follow Charlotte Quay on Instagram.
