New Albums: Ice Spice, Joya Mooi, Nieve Ella& more

Words: Dylan Murphy

With the endless onslaught of new music every Friday it’s hard to keep up with all the new releases. We’ve curated the essential new albums and projects out today for you to check out.

Ice Spice – Like..?

One of 2022’s breakout acts, Ice Spice has started 2023 in the same vein of form. Following the release of ‘In Ha Mood’ earlier this month, the Bronx rapper has shared her new six track EP Like..?

Joya Mooi

Amsterdam’s Joya Mooi has shared the second part of her double sided album What’s Around The Corner. Made up of 15 tracks, it’s produced by Sim Fane, SIROJ, Blazehoven and Joya Mooi and wrestles with themes of social change. Speaking on the record, Joya says, “With this project I’m hoping to set some things in motion. Side A leans into escapism & seeking clarity, and with Side B I’m hoping to bring resolution to end certain cycles.”

Boldy James, Rich Gains – Indiana Jones

Boldy James is currently recovering from a near fatal car accident, but he’s dropped a new collaborative project with Rich Gains for fans waiting on his return to full health.
