Oneohtrix Point Never and Rosalía join forces on ‘Nothing’s Special’

Words: Dylan Murphy

Having been first teased over three years ago, the collaboration from the pair has finally landed.

Just last week, Daniel Lopatin teamed up with The Weeknd for his performance at the BRIT awards in the O2 in London to perform ‘Save Your Tears’. Now, the acclaimed producer has finally released a long-awaited collaboration with Spanish singer Rosalía.

Nothing Special’ sees the pair join forces on an alternate version of the eponymous track from Magic Oneohtrix Point Never. In the new track, Rosalía’s vocal replaces the words that were provided by Lopatin in the first iteration.

Lopatin performed with The Weeknd at The BRITS and the Superbowl Half Time Show and Rosalía also collaborated with Canadian star recently. In his remix of ‘Blinding Lights’ Rosalía provided guest vocals.
