Other Voices ‘Courage’ continues with Mango x MathMan performing tonight

Following the success of live stream performances from Ye Vagabonds, Sorcha Richardson and more, Dublin duo Mango x MathMan are next to step up.

2019 saw hip hop/ grime duo Mango x MathMan release their long-awaited debut album ‘Casual Work’. Featuring the likes of Loah and Lisa Hannigan, it provided a love letter to the city that raised them and received widespread acclaim.

‘Courage’, is a new project that aims to provide inspired performances during the pandemic from the most exciting artists from across the country. Live streamed from a number of iconic cultural locations, it will see Mango x MathMan perform live from Whelan’s.

Starting at 20.00 sharp, (Tuesday 5 May) the pair promise to bring their trademark energetic performance to lift spirits in difficult times.

Speaking of the project Minister Madigan said: “We know culture plays a hugely positive role in our collective wellbeing. The performances that will take place during the Courage programme are sure to raise plenty of spirits and can be enjoyed as people stay at home. It is in addition to the support that the Government is already providing to artists and those working in the arts and cultural sectors.”

Tune in on Tuesday at 20.00 via Other Voices’ YouTube + Facebook Live and RTÉ.ie to watch the show.

A new Other Voices Courage TV series will start at 23:30 from May 7th.
