Other Voices launch new livestream series ‘Courage’

The first stream kicks off Thursday 23 April at 20.00.

Other Voices have announced a new live stream series named ‘Courage’ that provides inspiring and uplifting performances from artists during the current crisis.

Providing an essential cultural output during the crisis, the new series from Other Voices will be broadcast from a number of iconic cultural locations on Youtube, Facebook Live and RTE.IE. You can also watch on RTÉ2 from May 7 at 23.30 or catch up on it after on the RTÉ Player.

Speaking today, Minister Madigan said “We know culture plays a hugely positive role in our collective wellbeing. The performances that will take place during the Courage programme are sure to raise plenty of spirits and can be enjoyed as people stay at home. It is in addition to the support that the Government is already providing to artists and those working in the arts and cultural sectors.”

The performances will take place on Tuesday and Thursday nights, with the first performance from Ye Vagabonds taking place Thursday 23 April from 20.00 at Whelan’s.
