R3D Releases debut visuals for ‘That’s The Point’
“This song is about explaining that there is no status quo… I wanted to give people a chance to get to know me as an artist.”
Last week R3D stepped out from behind the decks to recruit an all-star Irish hip hop line-up for his debut single ‘That’s The Point’ and now the visuals have dropped.
Tebi Rex’s DJ turned rapper called on Txmmy Rose and Max Zanga for guest features and the track itself presents just over four minutes of flex-fuelled lyricism.
Consisting of antics from this year’s Longitude festival, the visuals see Txmmy Rose and R3D trading bars backstage and Max Zanga of Tebi Rex bringing an exasperated hook.
On the track R3D noted, “I Produced the beat myself, and I feel I’ve really injected my personality into it. I like to add samples to and sound bites to relay my message across and show my playful style.”
‘That’s The Point’ represents a strong debut effort from the MC and has given a taste of what’s to come ahead of his upcoming project ‘The R3D Tape’.
