Rusangano Family announce Irish tour with stellar homegrown support acts

They’re bringing some friends…

At the end of August we premiered Limerick trio Rusangano Family’s new video ‘Tea In A Pot’ for the first time.

The Family wanted to release something to mark the end of summer, before their performance on Saturday at Electric Picnic.

The Choice Prize winners have now announced a winter tour of Ireland, with top notch Irish artists on support in each location.

“Famo, it’s been a whopper year. We’ve had some amount of craic. Thanks to all you folk who got involved. It’s nearly that time again, we’re getting that studio/recording itch. So we’ll have to disappear for some of 2018 to start crafting some new material. But first, we’re off for one final 4-day tour. We’re back in some of our favourite venues with some of favourite promoters. We’re real lucky to bring some friends who’ve been really inspiring us with their sounds over the last 12 months, and pushing Irish music in a real interesting direction.”

They kick it off 24th of November 24 in Dublin’s Button Factory with support from Fehdah, then to Galway’s Roisin Dubh on December 8 with Jonen Dekay, then they bring Mango & MathMan to Cork for a show in Cyprus Avenue on December 9, closing the curtain at home for a huge show in Dolans, Limerick with Jafaris on support.
