Saint Street and Monster Energy Want To Hear Your Music

Saint Street has long been a centre for urban culture. The store provides a space not only for Irish rap to be championed, but for the streetwear fanatic with a finger on the pulse. That’s why it’s no surprise their Saint Street Session series alongside Monster Energy has been such a joy to witness.

Time and time again, we’re seeing class acts that we have in our rotation hit Saint Street and give intimate performances in the unique location. The sessions not only serve a purpose of providing great music, but they’re also archiving a pivotal time in Ireland’s music development.

We have to admit; the guys have got taste. 22 episodes down, and a lot of our picks for The Future of Irish Music have taken up the mic here, too. Curtisy, Youngiz and F3miii are all part of the Saint Street extended universe. This doesn’t mean the guys haven’t put us on too, especially when it comes to DJ sets. Some infectious house from Oscide and nasty jungle from culchee, just to name a few, as well as the likes of Carson Clay, Sello, Celine, and Outstraight Records.

We’re seeing an Irish underground scene absolutely booming. So much so that it’s hard to keep track. The guys are opening their doors to artists who are hungry for the spotlight and think they can hold down the mic at a Saint Street Session – recorded completely live and demonstrating nothing short of raw talent.
