Words: Dylan Murphy

This sounds deadly.

According to Variety Lionsgate has acquired the horror script to Video Nasty. Seth Rogen’s Point Grey and Greg Silverman’s Stampede Ventures will produce the film.

Written by Chris Thomas Devlin, Video Nasty sees three teens brought into the world of an 80s slasher movie that threatens to trap them forever after renting a cursed VHS.

Rogen’s ‘Point Grey’ has already produced 50/50, Blockers, Neighbours and Sausage Party among others.

Writer Chris Thomas Devlin has already written the script for 2021’s just Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie.
