The Neptunes are back and they’ve music with Jay-Z, Lil Uzi Vert & more

You read that right. One of the 2000s most prolific hit makers have joined forces again to make some new music with some big names.

Although they never officially broke up Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo had not worked together in recent years much under the banner of The Neptunes. They had in fact however worked with Justin Timberlake on his album last year and reunited to work on the 2017 N.E.R.D album ‘No_One Really Ever Dies’.

In a recent interview with Clash Magazine Pharrell Williams revealed that he and Chad Hugo were focusing on working together as The Neptunes again.

““I’m focusing on The Neptunes stuff, getting back on The Neptunes grind,” he noted.

“We’re doing a couple of things. There’s a videogame soundtrack that’s in the works right now that I can’t speak about, I’m not supposed to, but uh, it’s in the works right now. We just did some work with Miley Cyrus, JAY-Z, blink-182, Lil Uzi Vert, Brandy, Ray J, Snoh Aalegra, G-Eazy.”

Let’s pray they have some bangers in the vault for 2020.
