Did Reddit just prove Tyler The Creator’s album is coming?

Words: Dylan Murphy

Billboards started popping up all over the world with a phone line that reveals a voice recording between Tyler and his mother. Some keen-eyed Redditors found traces of the potential album title from over a year ago.

Big artists are releasing albums again, nature is healing.

J. Cole recently shared his album The Off Season and Doja Cat also announced her forthcoming album, it’s signs that point towards the growng confidence in the music industry about the imminent return of live shows. Tyler, The Creator appears to be next up to begin rolling out an album after billboards popped up across the globe.

The huge posters said, “CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST” and had a number alongside the text. According to Reddit, when one rings the number it reveals a voice recording between Tyler and his mother.

However, keen-eyed Redditors also noticed in a photo of Tyler at the GRAMMY Awards in 2020 that the very same phrase was on the bottom of a tag on the suitcase he brought with him to the awards show.

It’s a pretty crazy easter egg and suggests the potential new project has been in the works for some time. Technology savvy users also went further and looked into the script around the social media posts.

Though nothing is confirmed as of yet, there’s a serious buzz online and belief that T is set to drop his first album since 2019’s GRAMMY winning project IGOR.
