Vegyn announces EP and shares ‘I See You Sometimes’ featuring Jeshi

Words: Dylan Murphy

Following collaborations with Frank Ocean and JPEGMAFIA and with an acclaimed album under his belt, Vegyn opens a new chapter in his eclectic career.

Today, Vegyn has shared ‘I See You Sometimes’ and announced his forthcoming EP Like A Good Old Friend landing March 19 via PLZ Make It Ruins.

The news follows the release of his 2019 album Only Diamonds Cut Diamonds, which featured American rapper JPEGMAFIA and cemented his position as one of the most compelling producers in the UK. Elsewhere, Vegyn contributed to Frank Ocean’s Blonde and Endless before a number of loose singles in 2020.

I See You Sometimes’, sees London spitter Jeshi provide elastic wordplay over an instrumental that’s emotional tones don’t compromise his rustic storytelling.

Like A Good Old Friend drops March 19, in the meantime watch the video for ‘I See You Sometimes’ below:

Elsewhere, we talked to slowthai for our February cover feature about his soul searching in an attempt to reconcile with one of pop culture’s most divisive characters.
