Visual artist Maser is throwing a party – with free pizza

Words: Ciarán Howley

Prints from the artists’ back catalog are up for grabs at studio Atelier Now

Irish visual artist Maser is hosting a get-together in his studio next weekend, Saturday 31, with some early prints up for grabs.

Attendees can expect music, complimentary pizza, pints and the chance to take home exclusive ‘Artist Proof’ prints at Atelier Now, Charlemont Street. Aesthetes young and old are welcome – guests can even bring their dogs. Drinks from Jameson and Absolut will also be on offer.

Early limited editions of popular prints up for grabs including ‘Love Yourself Today’, ‘Homebird’, ‘Don’t Be Afraid’, ‘Come Together’ alongside works from the artist’s self-published collections over the years.

The artist is known for their signature graphic style and the influence of mid-century optical art, creating an immersive and playful visual experience.

Maser has had work featured at the National Gallery, National Library of Ireland, Culture Night 2019 and even created a 3-D installation at the New-York Art on Paper exhibition in 2020. Not to mention a collaborative set of prints with Michael D. Higgins.
