TradFest is back, with this year’s venues including Collins Barracks, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Temple Bar, Malahide Castle, and Swords Castle and more. For the first time in it’s history, the festival will extend beyond the city centre to locations such as Áras Chrónáin Irish Cultural Centre and St. Maelruain’s Church in Tallaght. Continuing after the passing of core member Prodigy in 2017, it does not get more essential hip hop than Mobb Deep. Their iconic album ‘Infamous’ containing tracks such as the beloved “Shook Ones, Part II” gives them the inevitable title of hip hop hall of famers. We’d be lying if we said we didn’t have a soft spot for Peggy. An artist who has practically never missed on any project and will leave you in a sweaty haze by the end of his live shows.
