It’s finally that time of year again, Dublin Gallery Weekend is back. Running from this Thursday to Sunday, there are going to be over 60 free events across 40 galleries and cultural spaces, featuring more than 100 artists from across Ireland and beyond.

(Kevin Kavanagh Gallery, Chancery Lane, Friday – Sunday, free)
Kevin Kavanagh Gallery (D8) is showing Geraldine O’Neill’s Flicker, Flicker during Dublin Gallery Weekend, a great chance to catch her work in person. Alongside the show, there’ll be a coffee gathering and an artist talk, plus a weekend-long Art Book Fair featuring a special book signing with artists Deirdre Frost and Cecilia Danellon Saturday.

The Contemporary Art Gallery Association is running six Guided Gallery Tours this weekend, a great way to experience Dublin’s most exciting contemporary art firsthand. Each tour is free; just turn up at the listed spots and times on Saturday or Sunday and take an art hike across the city.
The tours will visit leading gallery spaces across Dublin, from Green on Red, Hillsboro Fine Art, and Olivier Cornet Gallery in Dublin 1, to city-centre favourites like Taylor Galleries, The Molesworth Gallery, Claremorris Gallery Pop Up, and Oliver Sears Gallery, and on to the Stephen’s Green area with Solomon Fine Art, Kevin Kavanagh, SO Fine Art Editions, and Kerlin Gallery.

At this event you can enjoy an afternoon of live music with a DJ set by The Shrub, coffee from Coffeeangel, and treats from Parnell Street Bakery, along with a special viewing of Isabel Nolan’s brilliant exhibition Look at the Harlequins! before she heads to Venice to represent Ireland at the 61st Venice Biennale 2026.

(Claremorris Gallery Pop-Up, 3-4 South Frederick Street, Saturday, 3-5pm, free but ticketed)
Claremorris Gallery, the only CAGA members from outside Dublin, are popping up on South Frederick Street for Dublin Gallery Weekend. They’re showing Colour Beyond the Pale with work by Budi Guggi, Peter Burns, Tim Millen, Elizabeth Cope, and Nuala Clarke. On Saturday afternoon, they’ll talk about art collecting.

(Guinness Storehouse, Friday – Sunday, various times)
The Guinness Storehouse’s 25th Anniversary, it is presenting These Walls: Landmarks, a new exhibition by Irish artists Hazel O’Sullivan and Niall de Buitléar, responding to Guinness’s archives from the legendary ROSC exhibitions of 1984 and 1988. On Friday, The Gravity Bar will host Rising Conversations, a breakfast discussion on how Dublin can better support artists and make space for creativity.
