Best Looking Things to Eat in Dublin This Week: 11/07/22

Things to eat in and around Dublin from July 11 until July 17

We’ve collected some of the most delectable foods being sold in Dublin right now and compiled them into an extensive ol’ list. Here are five things in Dublin this week that we like the look of:

05

Anchovy and Dill Croquettes – Two Pups Coffee

Deep fry any sort of potato in breadcrumbs and I’m sold. Add in the kind of flavour that anchovies and dill bring and I’ll take that to the bank. These are served up with caper and chive mayonnaise, McNally’s organic leaves and seasonal pickles. This is a lunch you can legitimately call a flavour bomb.

04

Açai bowl – Ethos

When you need nourishment an açai bowl is what you should reach for. This one looks like it would redeem you faster than Jesus. Betwen the glistening nut butter, the home made berry granola and the succulent passionfruit you wouldn’t even know where to start. No matter what this is a dish perfect for the muggy mornings we’ve been having this week. Get out and try it.

03

Mille – Table Wine

Mille-feuille (pronounced meel-foy) means one thousand sheets, layers, or leaves. It’s an old-school French pastry that’s airy, crispy, flaky, and decadent in all the right places. The flavors of a mille-feuille are simple, but the textures are amazing. This particular one is made with with sweet whipped cream, jam from Ryan’s Rhubarb a fourth generation farmer, and Ballyhoura Mountain freeze-dried raspberries. French pastry should have a special place in everyones heart but Table Wine’s french style pastry made with Irish dairy looks like it was born to change your life.

02

Seasoned Corn – Tang

Corn on the cobb usually peaks this time of year. Its the most widely accepted part of the veggie barbecue. But more generally corn has been having a hell of a moment. Tang look like they’ve brought it to a whole new flavour level here. This dish is not only seasoned to the gods but dressed up enough to take home to your ma. It looks tasty enough to give main course energy. A definite must try this week.

01

Roast Strawberry and Croissant Tart – Chapter One

This dish has all the elements of a crowd-pleaser: it’s sweet, bursts with fruity flavours and the flush of red strawberries tastes like summer holidays. Not to mention visually stunning. I know I’m supposed to think gold leaf is shite because it genuinely doesn’t add anything to the flavour of dishes. But by the deity of your choice does it look good here. Chapter One genuinely never go wrong but this looks good enough to elbow other diners out of the way for.
