Summer cans in the park might be a fading memory, but gigs are here to stay. Luckily, September’s calendar is stacked with versatility. From shoegaze haze, fiddle-fused synths, and pop stars with god complexes, Dublin stages are covering all bases. So even if the grand stretch is gone, trust us, these nights will run long.

An Irish pioneer of electronic music. Daithí blends live fiddle loops with hypnotic beats. His fusion of traditional roots with club energy which he started almost ten years ago proves his forward thinking energy. Expect an immersive, uniquely Irish experience like no other.

The unpredictable and genre-defying BCNR seem to reinvent themselves with every release. Their live shows move from fragile ballads to loud chaotic catharsis. Between two nights this month, you can see one of the most vital experimental bands of their generation.

To celebrate the launch of their album Altar, NewDad will be in Spindizzy records for an in-store performance and signing session. Audiences can expect to hear highlights from their album, and stripped back versions of some of the tracks. If you don’t know them, then get to. NewDad are Galway’s dream-indie-rock heroes channel shoegaze haze with clarity. This in-store gig will be followed by a 3Olympia headliner next month.

Joe Butler has been making a steady rise since he first released in 2020. Since then, he has collaborated with fellow Irish musicians KhakiKid, Chameleon, and CARSTEN 2X. Influenced by the likes of Dominic Fike and ROLE MODEL, he has a playful blend of alt-pop charm and youthful storytelling. With such charismatic stage presence and catchy tunes, he’s one of those artists you’ll brag about catching early.
