March Gig Guide: 2hollis, Annie Mac, Rebecca Black & more

How is it already March? Heading into the third month of the year, it’s clear that the live music scene in Ireland is truly alive and well. 2025 continues to bring us the gigs we didn’t know we needed. Between 2hollis gracing the Opium stage, Rebecca Black taking over The Academy, and Clairo in 3Olympia tonight, there’s so much going on, and this is only scraping the surface. Here is our gig guide for March.

4 March

Clairo

Venue: 3Olympia

Doors: 19:00

American indie pop Clairo will be gracing the 3Olympia stage once again tonight, and if last night is anything to base it on, you’re in for a treat. She interweaves ’70s soul, lo-fi, and lush R&B, and her unique sound has landed her on the stages of Coachella, the Newport Folk Festival and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Tonight her stage is in Dublin, and we’re so ready for it.

6 March

Machine Girl

Venue: Opium Rooms

Doors: 19:00

Expect Machine Girl’s shows to mirror their music. Hectic, peculiar and sweaty. The group cultivated the chronically online through their undeniably catchy retro-futurist sound. Packing out Workman’s Cellar on their last visit to Dublin, they’ve earned a well-deserved upgrade to Opium.

15 March

SPOOKLET

Venue: Workman’s Club

Doors: 20:15

Electronic music producer SPOOKLET sonically traverses genres from ambient soundscapes, intense club grooves, and bilingual anthems. Her recent set at ‘OUCH’ gave us a taste of what her headline set will bring, striking the perfect balance between ethereal and energetic. We can’t wait for this one.

16 March

Annie Mac

Venue: Vicar Street

Doors: 19:00

She’s one of the most profound DJs to come out of Ireland. Former BBC Radio 1 DJ, Other Voices presenter, and author, Annie Mac, is hosting a ‘before midnight’ gig. This is a chance to see Annie Mac play long DJ sets bringing a classic authentic club experience allowing you to dance the night away – but it ends at the strike of midnight. So any Cinderellas out there that want to have a good night’s craic but also want to sleep at a reasonable hour, get your glass slippers on.

Moonchild Sanelly

Venue: The Grand Social

Doors: 19:00

Since the success of her debut album Rabulapha! in 2015, there has been no stopping Moonchild Sanelly. Her discography embraces Amapiano, Gqom, funk and more. The Port-Elizabeth-born artist also made an appearance on Mercury Prize winners Ezra Collective’s album Dance, No One’s Watching, showcasing her unique vocal style, lyrical honesty, and experimental storytelling. 22 March

2hollis

Venue: Opium

Doors: 19:30

At the young age of 21, 2hollis is making huge waves across the continents, while also transcending genre boundaries. Glitchy production combines the sounds of his mentor Skrillex with a new wave of hip hop which has gripped the underground. There is seldom an artist who has the internet in the palm of their hands right now like him. This one may also have some contenders for moshpits of the year.

25 March

Rebecca Black

Venue: The Academy

Doors: 19:00

Rebecca Black has come a long way since releasing her track ‘Friday’ as a 13-year-old. Her latest full-length project Salvation proves that this electronic-pop defines her own path in the worlds of music fashion, and queer art scenes. Over the course of her trailblazing career, Rebecca Black has earned critical claim for her position in pop culture, and rightly so. Her set will not disappoint.

25 March

Panchiko

Venue: The Button Factory

Doors: 19:00

Soul-shredding beautiful music with a backstory that trumps them all. Reunited after 17 years thanks to internet sleuths attempting to find the creators of an old decayed record, Panchiko have been touring the world since. Set to release their third studio album in 25 years next month, it’d rude if they didn’t give us a sneak peek in Dublin.
