A film and special live performance featuring the South West All-Stars is on the way

Words: Dylan Murphy

It’ll see the likes of Denise Chaila, God Knows and Hazey Haze bring you through a musical journey shot in Limerick.

This week, filming commenced on a new set of special live performances and interviews featuring a host of Ireland’s most exciting hip hop acts. We Move The Needle sees God Knows, Denise Chaila, MuRli, Gavin DaVinci, Citrus Fresh, Strange Boy and Hazey Haze tear up the stage and give comprehensive interviews.

Airing in early 2021, it follows the release of the crew’s ‘Who’s Asking?‘ remix that brought the timeline to a standstill earlier this year.

The film will view hip hop in Ireland through the lens of God Knows and the label Px Music. We Move The Needle will share the breakthrough stories of the acts the blazed a trail in 2020.

Directed by Stephen Hall who recently directed NightShift and the video for ‘Mup I Said and ‘Holy Grail’ , the film will be produced by Ten Feet Tall

The exact release dates are not revealed as of yet. More news as we hear it.
