Aby Coulibaly and Biig Piig Play Cork and Galway This September

Madrí Excepcional is bringing The Soul of Madrid to Ireland this September 19th and 25th, with two unmissable city takeovers celebrating two of Ireland’s brightest voices. Tickets are on sale now.

On Friday 19th September, The Bodega Cork will be bouncing to the sounds of Aby Coulibaly. The Dublin-based R&B and soul artist has been praised for her buttery vocals 90s-inspired beats, paired with raw, charismatic story telling. After supporting Coldplay at Croke Park and Olivia Dean on tour last year, her stage presence and power as a musician is undeniable. Aby will be joined by DJ Rosa and an on-site graffiti installation from Zurdie G, bringing a surge of art, energy and rhythm to the heart of Cork. Tickets are on sale now via Eventbrite, so don’t miss your chance to be part of the party and experience The Soul of Madrid.

A week later, on Thursday 25th September, the spotlight shifts west to Galway’s An Púcan, where Biig Piig returns home to Ireland for a headline show. After her knock-out sets at both All Together Now and Electric Picnic, she’s set to deliver her signature fusion of trip-hop, R&B, jazz, and bass-heavy club sounds – a mix that has earned her millions of streams and a co-sign from Billie Eilish. Once again, DJ Rosa and Zurdie G complete the line-up, colliding sound and colour for a late night of chaos.

Doors for both gigs open at 18:30 and will run until late. Tickets are just €10 via Eventbrite, including two drinks tokens, complimentary food, and access to the full line up. With acts like these, vibrant street art, and Spanish-inspired dishes, this is not just a gig, it’s a street party – in two of Ireland’s most loved venues.

Get your tickets for Aby Coulibaly or Biig Piig now.
