An Post and Brother Hubbard Are Giving Away Coffee This Thursday

Take the time to make someone’s day.

By this point in the year, we’re all caught up in the madness of Christmas preparation. But this time, An Post has got you covered with a way to spread some Christmas love, and bag yourself a free coffee while you’re at it. On Thursday 4 December, An Post is teaming up with Brother Hubbard on Capel Street to give you the chance to write and send a Christmas card to someone you’re thinking about, free of charge.

The event will take place between 10am and 1pm, and offers you the chance to get off your phone and let someone know you are thinking of them this Christmas. As part of the event, you will get a free stamp and a free coffee, and you will be able to send it on the day with An Post. This event also gives you the perfect chance to purchase the rest of your Christmas sending bits from stamp booklets to card packs.

Nearly 40,000 of you sent a Letter to your Future Self back in March of this year, so An Post are bringing the concept back again, but this time it’s all about giving to others.

While it’s easy to tap on a screen and send a “Happy Christmas”, sending a handwritten card says something that a text or voice note can’t: it says I care about you enough to sit down, put pen to paper, and let you know.

All you have to do is pop by Brother Hubbard at 153 Capel Street, find a quiet corner, pick up your free coffee, and write. It doesn’t matter if it’s for friends, family, or simply someone who might find this time of year really hard, An Post will take care of delivering your card anywhere in the world.

A handwritten card might be small, but the impact can be big –  that all depends on what you decide to write.

Terms and Conditions: Offer extends only to regular-sized coffee (regular milk or oat milk) at Brother Hubbard on 153 Capel Street for the duration of the activation.
