Anomaly’s Evan Miles drops ethereal new track featuring Newfoundland

Something a little different from one of the founding members of Anomaly.

It’s been a hectic year for the Anomaly crew. Whether it’s been throwing parties in Waterford or Dublin or working with artists within the ‘Anomaly Sphere’, they’ve kept themselves busy.

Recently they’ve had singles from Pat Lagoon and Rikshaww, however the latest effort comes from producer Evan Miles. The track ‘HourGlass’ is the product of a collaboration with fellow Waterford natives Newfoundland. A thoroughly atmospheric track, it it quenches a thirst for more alternative styles of music to come from the collective.

On the latest cut Evan said, “I actually had the instrumental composed first of all with sort of an airy-ambient feel to it and wanted to keep that vibe going throughout the track, so with this
I was delighted for Newfoundland to be on board with
this and allowing me to put my own spin on them,
opposed to their usual style.”

“I tried to keep it relatively simple in regards to instrumentation, to make sure to allow space for the vocals to take centre stage.”

Perfect for the increasingly cold winter’s evenings, it is without doubt one of Evan Miles strongest efforts yet.
