The tour drops alongside news of Ash’s forthcoming debut album WEEDKILLER.
Ashnikko reveals their new single ‘Worms’ and dates for their next world tour later this year. Among those dates is a show in the 3Olympia, Dublin on 11 December 2023.
The news comes as the globe trotting artist announces their debut album WEEDKILLER, which lands via Parlophone Records on 2 June 2023.
Ashnikko has garnered a reputation as an uncompromising and experimental act that pushes the boundaries of their sound and style to the extreme. WEEDKILLER introduces the next step in their world building as Ash details the dystopian fantasy of a world faced by the prospect of a dark technological takeover. A commentary on the impending environmental disaster and rate of technological innovation, WEEDKILLER is unflinching observation and imagination on their own terms.
Speaking on the news, Ashnikko says “My bioluminescent heart is glowing. My post-apocalyptic fae world is here for you to journey into. My wings have been ripped out, but I’ve built them anew using WEEDKILLER machine parts. I am the one sent here to eliminate you, WEEDKILLER.”
The announcements come after the success of 2021’s DEMIDEVIL mixtape and ‘You Make Me Sick’, Ash’s first song since that same year.
Tickets start at €29.90 go on sale 10.00 Friday 3 March.
