Auxiliary Phoenix shares new EP featuring Leo Miyagee & Sambeau

He has also summoned his alter-ego Qboi Skew to lay down a hook for the last track.

‘If We Could Build’ is Auxiliary Phoenix’s new project that just dropped via Dublin label/party throwers/radio show Wriggle.

James Strain is the name behind the Auxiliary Phoenix project and since we first stumbled upon his music around two years ago he’s proved himself to be one of the most versatile artists in the country. On his latest EP he dips his toes in jazz, math-rock, footwork and hip hop, showcasing that experimentation is his strongest asset.

The stand out track is ‘Tarmac Practice’ featuring two MCs, Leo Miyagee and Sambeau, plus Qboi Skew which is his mysterious alter-ego he first introduced to the world back in October.
