Well, that’s St. Patricks Day sorted.
The past couple of years saw gigs cancelled left, right and centre. Belfast duo BICEP were due to play in the capital before the shows were inevitably canned. However, District 8 have announced today that the pair will make a return to Dublin in the 3Arena as part of a series of one-off events.
BICEP play the 3Arena on 17 March 2023 with special guests to be announced.
“We’ve been working hard to try and find replacement dates for the Dublin shows which were originally planned for September 2020 & rescheduled to April 2021”, BICEP said of the announcement, “It’s sad that there are so few music venues left in Dublin! Hopefully this changes in the future! We are hugely grateful for everyone’s patience who have held onto their tickets from the original dates. For those that did, keep an eye out for an email from District 8”.
It comes after District 8 teased a one off event in a video teaser.
All tickets for the previously postponed shows in remain valid, with tickets for the new show on sale Thursday 28 July at 09.00.
