Blondie announce new album featuring Dev Hynes, Johnny Marr & more

One of the most iconic bands has a whole host of modern songwriters on board for their new album.

Johnny Marr, Sia, Dev Hynes, Charli XCX, Dave Sitek fro TV On The Radio and Nick Valensi of The Strokes have all been brought in as contributors for ‘Pollinator’. The new album by the legendary group is set to arrive on May 5.

It’s the 11th studio album by Debbie Harry et al, and the last record worked on in The Magic Shop prior to its closure.

“Pollinator is a riot of sound and musical colour; its 11 tracks represent the continuation of a 40+ year musical conversation that Blondie started.”
