Summer sizzlers in Smithfield
Bonobo have announced their return to the Dublin food scene with a bit of a mike drop move. The pub-come-pizza-joint has announced that Neighbourhood Wine and Potty Mouth Plants will be joining them when they reopen this weekend.
This opening will give a new meaning to the phrase “popping out for a few bits”, a trip to Bonobo could lead to you stumbling home with a pint of Guinness in one hand, half a pizza under the arm, a bottle of wine, and a succulent in the other.
The partnership with Dublin Pizza Company is no more, with All the Food announcing that there will instead be a Bonobo pizza offering with some delish looking pizzas on the menu. There’s a rosemary roast potato, pancetta, egg, and parmesan topped option, alongside a spicy option of roasted jalapenos, ventricina salami, and nduja, followed by the vegan-friendly cashew cheese, roasted pumpkin, courgette, and sundried tomato pesto topped pizza.
Aside from takeaway pints, Bonobo will be selling premixed cocktails and craft beers to the thirsty public.
The popup opens Friday and Saturday from 4.00pm – 9.00pm, and Sunday from 2.00pm – 6.00pm, it will be operating out of Bonobo’s place in 119 Church Street Upper, Inns Quay, Dublin 7, follow them on Instagram for more information.
