Another beloved restaurant has been claimed by mounting energy costs. They said, “Everyone is aware of the rising costs in the industry. And Box Burger was no stranger to this with a high energy-consuming kitchen and so many other economic variables at this time. We were left with no other option.”
The post went on to say, “instead of focusing on the negativity of the current situation, we want to remember all the positive things that Box Burger accomplished”. They thanked their “amazing customers for their support over the years.” And praised their staff for their hard work and dedication.
The destination burger spot opened in 2015 and participated in many events, such as Box on Tour. The Box Burger container headed out on the road to various festivals, including Big Grill Festival, Electric Picnic, Groove Festival, Eatyard residency and more”.
The Box Burger team launched Vox Burger, their fully Vegan Menu. It was a rip-roaring success and paved the way for many other vegan menus in fast-casual eateries.
And during the Covid lockdowns, they did everything possible and adapted their business model to the climate. They introduced Box Burger DIY kits and takeaways so that customers could enjoy a taste of Box Burger at home.
There’s still a little time left to support Box Burger before they go. You can book here to avoid disappointment.
