The artwork for the single pays homage to that of Pharrell’s debut solo album In My Mind.
Brent Faiyaz has been busy in the past year. Following the release of his 2020 EP Fuck The World, the RnB crooner linked with Tyler, The Creator for ‘Gravity‘ and for the first time in a number of years released new music with his group Sonder.
Now, he’s shared ‘Wasting Time’, arguably his most high profile release to date. The track sees Faiyaz join forces with Drake over a beat from The Neptunes in a track that just about surpasses the five-minute mark.
The artwork for the single sees Faiyaz and Drake in cartoon form in the same style as the artwork for Pharrell’s debut solo album In My Mind.
Earlier this year, Drake announced he was delaying his forthcoming album Certified Lover Boy, the Toronto artist did, however, share three new songs on The Scary Hours EP.
