Brown Thomas has been canceling orders placed for Veja shoes as the trainers were wrongly listed for 10 euro.
Department store Brown Thomas have faced criticism from online shoppers who for one brief moment had copped an absolute steal this Wednesday.
Sustainable footwear brand Veja produces sneaker-staples for the trendier among us – to their absolute delight when BT were supposedly selling the sneaker for just a tenner.
Some things really are just too good to be true. BT spent Wednesday morning canceling the orders on account of it being a “pricing error.” Angered customers took to the internet to protest the cancellations expressing frustration that Brown Thomas would not honour the ridiculously cheap price.
On the retailer’s official Twitter account, the department store posted the following explanation for the error and order cancellations.
They also linked in the thread a link to the store’s terms and conditions policy which state that the BT reserve the right to cancel orders for any number of reasons, including wrongly listed prices.
