Burglar Are The Perfect Irish Band For An Autumn Evening

Burglar’s music comes with a romanticised melody that belongs on the end credits of your favourite film from your adolescence. The joint efforts of Willow and Eduardo, the duo combine elements of shoegaze, indie and rock to give us a more than memorable display. You can catch Burglar on 25th October in Anseo as part of Anseo Anois with Beamish. Tickets are only a fiver (plus a small booking fee) and you can grab them here.

If you’re a fan of Slowdive, Feeble Little Horse or NewDad, then why the hell aren’t you listening to these guys? As their music meanders between electronic and acoustic, we’re taken back and forth between playful lyricism and cathartic vocals.

Burglar’s latest venture came in July of this year, with their EP ‘Unlucky’. The four-track project takes us through a symbiotic relationship between both Willow and Eduardo as they trade verses. This work honestly feels like it would be perfect as the backing for a coming-of-age film that would be the mainstay in your top four on Letterboxd. As those nights get darker and the leaves turn brown and eventually fall, this is the perfect type of music to sink your teeth into.

The guys will be performing as part of Anseo Anois on 25 October. On October 25th and 26th, Anseo will become a Beamish hotspot as homegrown music is set to rain down on attendees, with some free pints in the mix too. The first 25 people through the door with a ticket each evening will receive a complimentary Anseo Anois t-shirt. Tickets are only a fiver (plus a small booking fee) and you can grab them here.

Please enjoy Beamish responsibly. Visit www.drinkaware.ie for more information
