CMAT shares ‘No More Virgos’ and announces debut album

CMAT has blessed us with some huge news today – She’s dropping her debut album next year, is going on tour and has a new song out.

Speaking on Instagram CMAT says, “I have been burrowing away like a little squirrel for the last few months so that I could bring you today’s big 3 announcements:

1: my new single, No More Virgos, is out NOW !!!!!! It is a bop about how I love italo disco and hate Virgos, stream it via the link in my bio immediately if u like to have fun ?

2: my first ever ALBUM (!!!!) , called ‘If My Wife New I’d Be Dead’ , is coming out on February 25th 2022.

3: I’m going on tour !!!!!! !!!!!!!!”

The announcements come after a huge year for the singer, who supported Declan McKenna on tour, performed at Latitude amongst a host of other festivals and released her Diet Baby EP.

CMAT plays Cyprus Avenue Cork on March 9, Dolans in Limerick on March 10, a sold out show in the Academy on March 11 before heading to The Limelight in Belfast on March 12. Following her Irish dates, CMAT heads over the pond to America for a run of shows. Full dates can be found on her instagram post and tickets go on sale November 5.
