Curtisy and D*mp team up on ‘EP OF SORTS’

Words: Dylan Murphy

Fresh from a sparring session with Ahmed, With Love. on ‘Men on a Mission’, Curtisy is back with a short and sweet eight minute EP with D*mp.

With how regimented and focused release schedules are, it’s sometimes nice to just be bombarded with new music without warning. Curtisy has hardly wasted a second since he started dropping loosies on Soundcloud and today he’s maintained his momentum with EP OF SORTS.

Featuring production entirely from D*mp, it’s a product of a relationship that’s finally starting to click after a year and a half of recording together. Consisting of hazy, stream of consciousness-style bars over sample-heavy instrumentation it’s the kind of music to stay inside to this January.

Their latest release follows Curtisy’s collaborations with Wallfella, Ahmed, With Love., Rory Sweeney and others and comes ahead of what promises to be a busy year for the Dublin rapper.
