Daft Punk to score Suspiria director Dario Argento’s new film

Daft Punk to write the music for Argento’s latest outing ‘Occhiali Neri’.

Director Dario Argento has revealed that Daft Punk will compose the score for his next film. The Italian director’s latest offering ‘Occhialia Neri’ (Black Glasses) is still in pre production, but it is set in Italy’s capital Rome and the his daughter will star in it.

Argento shared the news in an interview with italian newspaper La Repubblica, stating that the French duo reached out when they discovered he was plotting his next film.

Argento’s best known work is Suspiria and he has worked on other films that are considered classics within his own home country and beyond.

Occhiali Neri will commence filming in September, coronavirus permitting.
