Two of Ireland’s heaviest hitters have linked up on a reworking of Denise’s ‘Anseo‘.
Today, Denise Chaila and Jafaris have shared ‘Anseo’. It comes after Denise invited Uncle Jafa onto one of her most popular tracks from her debut mixtape Go Bravely.
It comes on the coattails of a remarkable rise for Denise. In the space of a year, she has become a household name in Ireland. Following a stunning performance in the National Gallery of Ireland for Other Voices’ Courage series earlier this year Denise doubled down on her hype with her debut mixtape Go Bravely.
Since then, she’s become the highest-charting Irish female artist of the year and cemented her spot as one of the most exciting acts to emerge in recent times.
Speaking on the record, Narolane Records said, “To state the obvious, 2020 has been a difficult year, but also a year of reflection and recalibration. Music has yet again provided us with more than entertainment. It’s been our escape when we needed it and a ray of sunshine in the storm. We’ve been overwhelmed by the support many of you have shown for the work we do here at narolane.
