Hen’s Teeth promotes local creators at new monthly market

Words: Ellen Kenny

Hen’s Teeth is partnering with Square to promote emerging homeware, lifestyle and gift brands across Ireland this summer.

The store and café known for its curated selection of fine art prints, homewares and treats are launching a monthly market across its two locations in Dublin 8.

Taking place on the first weekend of every month, the new market will launch Saturday, August 6.

Featured traders for the first market include Emporium, a streetwear and lifestyle brand inspired by 90s-era graphics. Chubby Cherub will also be selling on August 6, providing you with enough unique stationery and paper gifts to last years.

Coy Vintage are coming all the way from Sligo to sell their sustainable vintagewear. Also, Execute Exist, an independent studio inspired by traditional Irish culture, will be selling their printed clothing and accessories.

Ecin Studio is a Chinse-born Dublin-based artist whose still life prints in fun shapes and bold colours promote cultural diffusion. Meraki & Sun will also offer a range of everyday jewellery.

Hen’s Teeth will announce more vendors closer to the date of the market. Alongside the market, Hen’s Teeth will offer food and drinks pop-ups, a barbecue, and live music.

Hen’s Teeth director Greg Spring said, “we’re buzzed to bring a bit of that Newmarket Flea energy back to Dublin 8 with some of our favourite emerging Irish brands.”
