Drogheda’s Dbo teams up with Giggs and Lethal Bizzle on ‘Dapper Dan’

Words: Dylan Murphy

The A92 rapper joins forces with UK rap royalty in a new track.

Ireland’s Dbo hasn’t stopped working since A92’s ‘Plugged In Freestyle’ dropped. In an era where acts succumb to their fifteen minutes of fame and often grind to a halt shortly after, the Drogheda rapper has continued to stay focused – and it’s paying off.

This week, he’s teamed up with Peckham rap icon Giggs and Lethal Bizzle for ‘Dapper Dan’ ahead of Bizzles Lethal B v Lethal Bizzle. The project comes as he celebrates two decades in music and lands via his own label Skint Gang Records.

Speaking on the track, Dbo says, “I think the track is really cold, you can hear a lot of different sounds and styles all on the same track. I think it’s a really big track for the scene knowing that this is Bizzle’s entry back.

Working with Giggs and Bizzle, I won’t even lie that’s the stuff you can really dream of. Those are two legends I grew up listening to and watching their moves and obviously it was good to wrack their brains a bit and get some advice.”

The collaboration comes after Dbo dropped ‘Toronto Raptors’ at the tail end of 2021.
