Dublin artist Sorcha O’Higgins is hosting a collage and cocktails event for Earth Day

By Emily Mullen

Collage as in sticking stuff together

Pritt stick wizard and artist extraordinaire Sorcha O’Higgins has teamed up with Dublin 8 distillery Stillgarden to launch a virtual event for Earth Day. The three-hour workshop will mainly consist of collaging and sipping cocktails will be on April 22 at 7pm.

O’Higgins will be guiding attendees through the process of composing and curating a collage of their own, which promises to be a “mindful and meditative practice”. Attendees will be asked to supply their own newspapers, magazines, photographs, glue, scissors, and some paper to create their collages.

There are also cocktails, as the event leans into the theme of most virtual events for those over the legal drinking age. With the option of either Stillgarden community-sourced gin, two mixers, and ingredients to make Tom Collins cocktails for €50 or the €60 ticket option which includes two Stillgarden signature “ready-to-pour” cocktails choosing from their raspberry soiree, espresso martini, or cosmo.

The packs include a pack of seeds, two Stillgarden glasses, and two garden tour tickets, which they can look forward to using when restrictions are lifted.

The event will be on Thursday, April 22 at 7pm, for more information visit the event page here.
