The show will feature 60 signature looks from Ireland’s emerging and established designers.
The most important week in Ireland’s fashion calendar is back, baby, and this year there are some incredible events to get excited for. First and foremost, the launch in the iconic GPO building. The show, titled POSTMARKED will transform the GPO into a choreographed fashion experience rather than a traditional runway. In true Dublin Independent Fashion Week fashion, this event will be open to the public, so get your tickets fast.
The show will feature 60 signature looks from Ireland’s emerging and established designers.
The show is being produced by none other than DIFW Chairperson & Founder of Mar Knitwear, Mihai Mar and will be in collaboration with An Post. The show will work with themes of Irish heritage to celebrate the incredible talent shaping Irish fashion, and indeed global fashion, today.
“This is a monumental moment for DIFW and a huge opportunity to celebrate the incredible talent shaping Irish fashion today, within one of the country’s most culturally significant spaces”, said Mihai Mar. “I’ve watched DIFW grow exponentially since 2023, and I never could’ve imagined being part of a moment like this. On a personal level, it’s incredibly special and it will undoubtedly be one of the defining highlights of my career. We can’t wait to welcome you all to the GPO on September 10th and launch DIFW26 in style.”
Dublin Independent Fashion Week is Ireland’s biggest fashion week and the first of its kind in the country. This year, there will be 40 events between September 10th and 16th, ranging from shows, to workshops to networking events and talks with industry leaders. Check out the website for more information.
