Elaine Howley, Baliboc and EMBY to play ZONE with Open Ear Festival

Words: Ellen Kenny

Open Ear have announced the full lineup for ZONE, taking place on Sherkin Island from October 21 to October 23.

The full lineup for ZONE has been announced by their organisers, Open Ear.

Baliboc and EMBY, Bea Brennan, Elaine Howley and Lerosa will perform on Sherkin Island from October 21 to October 23. Other performers in the line up include Pablo Santo, Kenny Hanlon, Oootini and Serialexperimentsjane. Click here to see the full line up.

According to Open Ear, ZONE is “an intimate, multi-venue adventure” across Sherkin Island. While Open Ear Festival typically takes place just on the North Shore of Sherkin, ZONE host a series of concerts and performances in a variety of indoor and treated venues across the island.

ZONE hopes this new format will bring “attendees and artists closer together.”

Bea Brennan and Elaine Howley will explore the intersection of ambience and experimental, while Lerosa will perform a brand new live set, taking acid music away from the dancefloor and onto the island.

The festival will also host the debut performances of Galway’s Serialexperimentsjane and Cork’s Oootini, while Baliboc and EMBY will offer a DJ-MC combo.

Tickets for ZONE start from 75 euro, and offer group tent combos. Click here to get tickets.
