The festival has also added James Vincent McMorrow to the lineup alongside a host of other artists, live theatre and comedy.

After a huge first wave announcement of acts playing at the inaugural edition of Beyond The Pale in Glendalough Estate, the festival has revealed that James Vincent McMorrow now joins the billing as he kicks off his world tour at the festival.

Beyond The Pale takes place June 10 – 12 in Wicklow, this June with tickets limited to 5,000 people in what is shaping up to be one of the summer’s most intimate and tightly curated events.

Elsewhere, the festival has also revealed that Emmet Kirwan will perform his cult favourite show Dublin Old School alongside Ian Lloyd Anderson, while Clare Dunne brings her theatre show Sure Look It, Fuck It to the music and arts festival. Winner of Virgin Media 1’s The Big Deal Lisette Kroll performs her new pole and acrobat work Metamorphosis and Niall Sweeney’s Titans of Chlorologia art installation also etches itself into the festival’s grounds.

Music acts added to the festival lineup include: Nealo, Shakalak, Stefan Murphy, Koprmac, Elkka, Chloe Robinson, Pote, Elaine Mai, Toshín, Prymary Colourrs, Murli, Stephen James Smith, Cici, Anna Malarrkey, Loah, Glasshouse Performs Aphex Twin.

It comes after the festival revealed the likes of Ben UFO, Fourtet and Bonobo were heading to Ireland for the first iteration of the festival. The festival are also partnering with Whiplash to be the first Irish music festival to serve great, independently made Irish beer. Elsewhere, there’s glamping and a comfy camping area for those wanting to bring their own tent but enjoy additional comfort.
