EMPORIUM Are Opening Their First Permanent Store With A New Collection

Words: Dray Morgan

The independent, Irish-born fashion brand has finally found a forever home.

EMPORIUM have announced the opening of their physical store at 21 Drury Street on 2 May, with an official store opening party taking place on 9 May. The first 25 customers at the store will receive a special tee alongside their purchase, as well the following 25 customers receiving a special gift from the store.

The creative endeavour of Robbie Fidgeon Kavanagh and Charlie Proctor-Quigley, EMPORIUM has been a mainstay in Irish contemporary fashion for over half a decade, intertwining their clothing with every corner of the creative world in Ireland. From collaborations with Soft Boy Records to getting the seal of approval from the likes of Nia Archives for Vice.

The fashion world seems to have more layers, niches and fanatics than ever, which makes the move from an online store to brick-and-mortar even more exciting, not only just for Emporium but for Dublin’s fashion culture. Coinciding with the brand’s Spring/Summer 2024 line dropping, this collection will be the first of its kind to be hosted in the flagship Drury Street store after becoming the brand’s permanent residence.

“We started Emporium because we wanted to make an imprint on the scene here in Dublin, to build a community around the brand, to encourage people to ‘support your local dealer’, now we’re here to stay.” The brand said.

This seasons collection includes heavyweight cut and sewn garments as well as signature “your local dealer” tees, which has been a motto of the label since its inception. The collection is set to drop in store on 2 May and then released through the EMPORIUM website the following day. This means to guarantee you don’t miss out, the in-store drop is a way to get a 24-hour lead on everyone else.
