Flying Lotus scores Netflix anime ‘Yasuke’, shares soundtrack

Flying Lotus has shared his soundtrack for Netflix series ‘Yasuke’ featuring Denzel Curry and Thundercat.
Earlier this week, La-based producer Flying Lotus revealed he was scoring Netflix’s new anime series ‘Yasuke’. Following the release of the trailer, he’s shared the full soundtrack to the six-part series on Spotify.
Featuring the likes of frequent collaborator Thundercat and Florida spitter Denzel Curry, the tracks land via Warp Records.
‘Yasuke’ follows the true story of Yasuke – the first samurai of African origin who fought with feudal lord Oda Nobunaga in the late 16th century and sees Lakeith Stanfield play the title character.
In December of 2020, Flying Lotus released ‘Lunch Break’ featuring the late MF DOOM. It landed as part of his FlyLo FM channel on GTA Radio.
‘Yasuke’ is available on Netflix now.
