For Those I Love has shared the concert footage from their headline show at the 3Olympia Theatre in November 2021.
The overlaying footage from the show is shown through split-screen in the video giving viewers a close approximation of seeing the show in-person.
For Those I Love is a musical project from David Balfe fusing electronic music and spoken word poetry, inspired by the death of Paul Curran, a poet and a friend who passed away. Over the course of the 9-track self-titled album, Balfe eulogises for his former bandmate on emotive yet cathartic tracks like ‘I Have a Love‘ and ‘The Shape of You‘.
The album emerged during lockdown where its themes of loss no doubt connected with many, while receiving high praise from critics. ‘For Those I Love’ was hailed by Rolling Stone as the best album of 2021 and won the Choice Music Prize for Best Album that same year.
For those who missed the sold-out show, this will definitely come as a welcome surprise.
