Gorillaz drop a brand new song ahead of Demon Dayz Festival

A nice surprise for your evening listening.

Gorillaz have just dropped a new song out of the blue entitled ‘Sleeping Powder’. Starting off with a often lambasted anti-drug PSA, the upbeat tune features an eerily human looking 2D dancing around various real life locations.

This Saturday Gorillaz will be headlining their own festival, Demon Dayz in a renovated funpark in the southeast of England. Along a stellar lineup of past collaborators, including De La Soul, Danny Brown, Vince Staples and many more, the whole festival will be livestreamed from 7pm GMT this Saturday.

Stay tuned to District for more from Demon Dayz festival.
