Listen to the new reworking that follows the release of Gus’ sophomore album Orca.
Gus Dapperton is back. The american singer songwriter has dropped a reworked version of his track ‘Palms’ which featured on his second album Orca, which landed last year.
He’s teamed up with La producer and artist Channel Tres for teh reimagined effort which premiered on on Monday during his “Cumulonimbus DJ set.
Speaking on the track Gus says, “I’m a huge fan of Channel and thought he would sound perfect on ‘Palms’. I was so excited when he said he was down to do it and even more excited when I heard what his verse was sounding like. We met a while back at one of his shows and had a fun time hanging afterwards. So glad it’s come full circle.”
It comes after the pair worked together on Dapperton’s monthly Spotify playlist “Cumulonimbus,” where he updates it with music that he and his friends have been listening to.
Last month, we looked at 9 artists that need to make their Irish debut after coronavirus restrictions lift and Channel Tres made the cut.
