You’ve read correctly, the hugely popular meme platform ‘Ireland Simpsons Fans’ has started a political party.
Rising to prominence through its poignantly accurate references from Matt Groening’s cartoon, cult favourite Ireland Simpsons Fans provides a humorous yet digestible source of political commentary. Now they are forming “Ireland’s newest all-island political party.”
They’ve said, “There is a crisitunity in Irish politics. Landlords are eating you and everyone you care about. Insufficient bear tax has diminished the wild bear population. The rich click their tongues and destroy the climate. For years we have asked “Can’t someone else do it?” – and we are that someone else.”
