Irish Design Week’s Final Lineup Is Here

It just got even better, get your tickets here before they’re gone.

The lead up to Irish Design Week is finally on the home stretch, and the organisers have blessed us with a stacked (and now-complete) lineup. The diverse mix of talks, workshops, and exhibitions celebrate the best of design across Ireland. The week-long timetable of events, organised by the Design & Crafts Council Ireland, spotlights every corner of the design world. Between the world renowned architects and graphic designers to some of the most exciting names in fashion, digital media, and product design – there’s something there for everyone.

As part of the celebration of design all round, Dublin Independent Fashion Week have a number of events across the week in store for you. From Monday to Thursday, Fade Street Studios will feature daily designer showcases, panel discussions, and model presentations, along with live music and dance performances. The week will end with a two-day Irish Design Showroom at Smock Alley Theatre, where audiences can enjoy exclusive model presentations, immersive performances, and a “Best Dressed” competition (with prizes, so get your best fits on.)

Other highlights include an opportunity to attend a talk between Colm Dillane, the mind behind KidSuper, and Irish fashion designer Natalie B. Coleman, as well as various other exciting speakers such as Thomas Widdershoven and Nikki Gonnissen, co-founders and creative directors of THONIK, a renowned digital and motion-first design studio based in Amsterdam. Attendees will also have the opportunity to attend interactive workshops. The Material Connections – Designing with glass and nature workshop pushes the boundaries of traditional design by exploring the intersection of more-than-human nature, feminist principles, and craft technologies, with a focus on mould making and glass.
