Unlike the US, in Ireland you don’t have to be well into your 40’s to be considered an OG of hip hip.
For 31-year-old Donaghmede rapper, and founder of independent imprint Áth Cliath Records, Jambo is exactly that. Something of a veteran of the scene.
He’s worked with Damien Dempsey, Paul Alwright, Costello and many more and has performed at festivals and venues all over the country.
He’s now released a new track from a forthcoming album called ‘What you want to rap for?’. Check out ‘Horizons’ below.
